Yoga with Loshan

Join us as we travel through postures with music in a flow that promotes connection and harmony.  You will find that your endurance and flexibility will gradually improve through deep stretching and breath awareness.  Be ready to leave class with an authentic yoga feeling in body and mind, both relaxed and rejuvenated with balance and serenity.  Participants will receive a basic knowledge and foundation for future yoga practice.  All levels welcome.

Loshan can be found between 6:30 and 8:30 on Monday Nights teaching yoga at the International House where beginning/intermediate advanced classes are open to all.   Also, at the UC Davis Experimental College at 12pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Loshan teaches Noontime Yoga which is a course she developed that is therapeutic and aesthetic for both the student and community member alike.

About Loshan

Loshandra Ostrava practices yoga in Northern California and on the East coast of various styles including Kripalu, Bhakti, Kundalini, and Shivananda, and also participated in various yoga events in the community.  She has created and shares a practice informed by these traditions and also by integrating world music and the healing modalities.  She likes to refer to her class as yin/yang, both enjoyable and challenging.
