About Loshandra Ostrava

A Pennsylvania native, Loshan began teaching as a teenager while simultaneously studying with 'Robert Dellorefice, and Edith Hirshtal, who were exemplary students at the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music.  Her father, Marvin Ostroff, was the first violinist in the Philadelphia Youth Symphony, and her mother was a student at the Moore College of Art in Philadelphia.  Having resided in Davis, California since 1989, she has resumed teaching after raising her family.  As a student of art, dance and music, Loshan likes to incorporate various influences into her style of teaching.
